The heat exchanger uses warm stable air that needs to be refreshed to heat the incoming (cold) air. Both air flows enter the heat exchanger at the same time, but the air does not mix. The result is that the heated fresh air enters the stable at the same temperature as the stable temperature. The humidity of the heated air is also lower, which means that maximum drying capacity is achieved.
Granovi Air Solutions uses a cross-flow exchanger that can be made much more compact than traditional heat exchangers. The slats are made of aluminium, which conducts 1000 times better than plastic. Because these slats must not become dirty, we place an F7 filter in front of them, which has a service life of at least one year. After that, it must be replaced or cleaned. We place a coarse filter in front of the F7 filter, which is only replaced at the end of the round for chicks.
